Location was excellent. The only good thing I could say. Their star rating is completely undeserved and should be around 3.5-3. Hot water in the rooms runs out quite fast. Wifi is unusable - needed to cancel classes as a teacher - staff couldn’t care less when we complained, were rude, uncooperative and plainly bored with their jobs. The hotel breakfast was very average for 15€. The breakfast lady was the only nice staffer. The bed was uncomfortable and furnishings quite ancient. There are plenty of establishments nearby where you’ll benefit from the location that won’t ruin your stay otherwise.
A wonderful little place with perfect rooms and extremely helpful staff. We had a terrace room with an amazing view. Breakfast was a great value and everything was of very nice quality. This place is a little out of the main path and much better than the touristy places near the Rialto.
Very good hotel ..i was reading the reviews beforehand and i saw everybody was saying that it was great except the breakfast..but i can they did improve it ..i have no complaints. A lot of different food ..very good food.. there's a terrace so you can eat outside ..we were staying in the junior suite and the room was amazingly good quality, very comfortable, the climate works great and it's very clean..10 of 10
If I could leave 0 stars I would leave no stars at all. Be wary with their promotions, there is a reason why this place is cheaper relative to other hotels. This is not a 4 star hotel , more like a 2 star hotel. The rooms are quite old and looks very beat up. Staff is extremely rude. Our first night in the hotel there was no hot water ! My wife and I couldn’t shower and complained to the front staff but they said they couldn’t do anything until the next day. What kind of hotel doesn’t provide hot water for a bath? Completely unacceptable. I don’t recommend and advise to look elsewhere
Lovely little hotel right by San Zaccaria pier and a short walk to San Marco Square. This made getting on the water taxi's/bus so easy and convenient. The breakfast was a good small continental and the decor around the main hotel was lovely. We stayed in an apartment just outside on the side street, which was quiet and away from the main building.
The loft suite was great however the basics like a kettle/coffee would've made the facilities better in the room itself. Also there was 1 plug for the room which made charging/using devices a little challenging!
Other than those small things, we absolutely loved our stay here and would definitely stay at this hotel again, for it's perfect location and friendly staff we saw.
We had a lovely stay at Hotel Bisanzio in June 2023. We stayed for 2 nights and found the hotel very comfortable. The room was lovely, bed comfortable and air con very much needed. Unfortunately the TV didn’t work in our room but we wouldn’t have spent much time using it anyway. Staff were very helpful with advice. We arrived at the train station and took a water bus which dropped us very close to the hotel. (Information taken from the hotels website). Over a few bridges and then you’ll see a mosaic on the floor directing you to the hotel.
Check in was quick and easy. A gentleman took our bags to our room and then delivered us a bottle of fizz (this may be a hotels.com thing).
On departure to the airport the hotel looked after our bags until we needed to leave, and then we were advised that there is a water bus which departs locally called “Blue Line” which takes you to the airport for about €15pp. It takes just over an hour to get there.
We didn’t have breakfast at Bisanzio but this was a lovely stay, and if I’m ever back in Venice Hotel Bisanzio will definitely be on the list of places to stay.
The hotel is very nice, near Zaccaria station and about 5 minutes walking to St Marco square .The room was clean and comfortable, they also have a cozy terrace were you can take the breakfast .The only issue was with the pressure of water, but for us was an insignificant detail.
Excellent accommodation, lovely breakfast. Great location, near to St Mark's and Doge's Palace. Near to vaporetto to make longer excursions easy.
